Since the anode produced from zinc, aluminum or magnesium is a more active metal and has a lower standard reduction potential than the surface we want to protect, it protects the surface from corrosion by first dissolving and oxidizing during corrosion.

Mounted by welding or bolting depending on the place of use, the grips protect the surfaces from corrosion, provide safe and long-lasting use, reduce operating costs and provide economy. The size and lifespan of the glues are calculated according to the size of the surface on which they will be used and the corrosiveness of the environment.

Cathodic protection is applied in industrial structures and vehicles such as pipelines, oil platforms, bridges, buildings, industrial facilities by two basic methods:

Galvanic Protection

In this method, a more active metal than the metal we want to protect is bonded to the metal to be protected. The more active metal gives current to prevent corrosion and the metal to be protected is protected.

Induction Cathodic Protection

In this method, an electric current produced by a cathodic protection generator is applied to the metal to be protected. This current prevents corrosion by creating a protection layer on the surface of the metal to be protected.
